I did an home inspection at this house in Whippany ,NJ. I went into the attic walk around a noticed the roof rafter been cut.
In the picture there is at least 1ft section is missing. The size of the rafter is 2X6. The sistered it with a 2X4 very short piece.The repairs is inadequate repair. A compitent contractor should make repairs as needed..."
