I did an home inspection at a house in Whippany ,NJ. I went into the attic walk around a noticed the roof rafter been cut. In the picture there is at least a 1ft section missing. The size of the rafter is 2’X6’. They sistered improperly, with a 2’X4’. The repairs are inadequate. A competent contractor should make repairs as needed...
